Select a topic that interests you. There is a lot of research that is involved in exposition writing, so find a topic you will want to do extensive research on. Remember that you are giving the reader or listener detailed and concrete evidence.
Engage your readers from the start. With more technical writing, it is important to hook the readers or listeners into your essay. Find a catchy opening or startling statistic to engage your audience immediately.
